Janeth Antillón is only one of the more than 7,000 young immigrants in New Mexico currently protected from deportation through DACA. But her protections –and those of 800,000 others across the country –are expiring since Donald Trump rescinded the program on Sept. 5, 2017.
Since then, an estimated 120 young immigrants are losing their DACA everyday. By march of next year, an average of more than 900 young immigrants will lose their DACA daily.
Yet, Janeth continues to put up a fight to stop the Trump administration from destroying and ending the dreams of millions of immigrant families across the country.
She will be joining the NM Dream Team –along with hundreds of other immigrant leaders from New Mexico– in taking the fight for a clean #DreamActNow, directly to D.C. elected officials’ doorsteps on Dec. 19th, 2017.
The Dream Act would allow her to gain back her protection from deportation, as well as opening doors to a job that will help her support her family and go back to school in the near future.
Today you can support Janeth’s fight for a community without fear, and where her family and friends are not the target of deportations.
Make your donation to the NM Dream Team to ensure Janeth and over 200 immigrant youth continue their fight for a clean #DreamActNow.
We must act now before more families are separated!
